Declaration of Faith
That the Bible, without error in its original form, was inspired by God.
That there is only one true God, who reveals Himself in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
That Jesus Christ is the only-begotten of the Father, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born sinless of the virgin Mary and lived a sinless life. He died on a cross, was buried and rose to life on the third day. He ascended to the right-hand of the Father where he sits as our great high priest. He will return again to establish His Kingdom.
That humanity is separated from God by sin, although created in the image of God, it fell into sin through disobedience, and so became subject to death, both physical and spiritual. To re-establish a relationship with God, one must accept the expiatory sacrifice of Jesus Christ, by repentance.
That justification, new birth and regeneration, is obtained only by faith in the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
That sanctification is an progressive experience that starts in the life of a believer from conversion, by means of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
That a new believer must be baptised in water, by immersion in the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit.
That baptism in the Holy Spirit is an experience that can happen at the time of, or subsequent to salvation and is available to all believers. The Holy Spirit gives power and spiritual gifts as manifested in the early church.
That provision is made for the redemptive work of Jesus Christ for the healing of the body, mind and spirit.
That Jesus Christ is the high priest of all believers. Every believer has direct access to the presence of the Lord and is able to study and interpret the Holy Scriptures.
That the Holy Communion is a celebration for all believers, performed in memory of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
That we wait for the visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, to eternal life for believers and eternal punishment for non-believers.
